Meeting point for big hunts

At certain times of the year, Herdade dos Grous is also a meeting point for hunting enthusiasts and their families.

Across the estate's neighbouring properties, you can hunt hare, partridge, deer and wild boar, so a number of clients travel to this area to enjoy the true experience of an Alentejo hunt.

At night, after being checked by the vets, the meat can be enjoyed at the Herdade's restaurant.

During the hunting season, the restaurant at Herdade dos Grous also features a menu with delicious game dishes, such as partridge escabeche; game terrine with wild fruits, flambéed with aged firewater; and stewed wild boar tenderloin.  See our Gourmet Calendar.
