Guest Chef Rodolfo Guzmán at Ocean Restaurant

On the 17 November Chef Rodolfo Guzmán joins Chef Hans Neuner for a 4-hands gastronomic experience.

The 2 Michelin-star Ocean Restaurant, located at  VILA VITA Parc Resort & Spa, in Porches, Algarve, will be welcoming on the 17 November, chef Rodolfo Guzmán, from Chile's BORAGó restaurant - distinguished in 2015 as the second best restaurant in Latin America and in 2018 one of the 50 Best Restaurants in the World.

Following the unforgettable evening of the 20th March, featuring guest Chef Christian Bau, from the 3 Michelin Star restaurant “Victor’s Fine Dining by Christian Bau”, chef Hans Neuner will now be welcoming as a guest chef in his kitchen Rodolfo Guzmán, for a unique 4-hands dinner. This event is part of a series of special dinners taking place at VILA VITA Parc since the beginning of the year, the Culin’Art Dinners.

Guzman’s cuisine, based on the use of traditional Chilean ingredients from the earth and the sea, cooked under the influence of the traditional gastronomy of the Mapuche people (an indigenous people from south-central Chile) and theatrically plated in earthy creations, will be joining Hans Neuner’s Portuguese influenced cuisine, based on local and seasonal products served in flawless gastronomic works of art. An evening of union and tribute to the best flavours from Chile and Portugal.  

Amongst Rodolfo Guzmán’s innovative signature dishes are the Venison tartare with Maqui berries, the Chilean rhubarb with fruits of the beach or the milk of cows, goats and donkeys in a creative re-adaptation of the classic Tres Leches dessert.

For €230 per person (drinks excluded), guests will have a unique opportunity to taste the extraordinary gastronomic creations of two of the biggest names in worldwide gastronomy, in the casual elegance of the Ocean restaurant, featuring sublime views over the Atlantic Ocean. Wine pairing is available for €125 per person.
